As we wrap up our Final Segment of, On Deck, Sid and I get in on the Final Four of the Stanley Cup Playoffs! It now pits the matchups in the Western Conference; Nashville Predators vs Anaheim Ducks and Eastern Conference; The Defending Stanley Cup Champions, Pittsburgh Penguins vs the Ottawa Senators. Can the Pens be the first team to repeat since the Harden Salary Cap Era that has been implemented since 2004-2005 and will they be the first to do so since the 1997-1998 Detroit Red Wings or will the Senators uphold them and finish off the mission of snapping the streak of not having a Canadian Team win it all since the Montreal Canadians hoisted, “Lord Stanley,” back in 1993? On the Western Conference side, can the Predators still stay hot after taking out the Top-Seeded Hawks and Blues, not if the Ducks have anything to say about it! As always, “Don’t be trolling, be rolling,” and follow us @ProdigyRichey @sidkid80 @Kevin_Lee93 @RalphHill86.
I am a current student at Illinois Media School wanting to get into the field of Sports Broadcasting, Media, and Journalism in Television and Radio. I am very passionate about Sports History and Culture! I host two two hour Sports Radio Shows on www.chicagolandsportsradio.com/; On Point, every Tuesday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and On Deck, every Saturday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. I see myself hosting my own Sports Radio Show in about 2-5 years from now. My passion is to engage my mind with Sports and to keep people up-to-date! My biggest Icons in the business are Chris Berman of ESPN, Al Michaels who is the former Voice for ABC doing Monday Night Football and now Sunday Night Football on NBC, and Jonathan Hood of ESPN Radio who is one of the Instructors for IL Media School. My favorite thing to do is to never be shy of taking Classic TV Shows, Professional, and Fighting Sports and whip them into a Promo and mixing them down into nice opening segments for my Sports Debates!
